History
Parker ITR Srl. is the company name for the hose manufacturing business of ITR, acquired in February 2002 by the Parker Hannifin Corporation of Cleveland, Ohio.
Now part of this new company, the Oil & Gas Business Unit has been continuously engaged in the manufacture of submarine and floating hoses for cargo transfer at offshore mooring systems for more than 30 years. During this period of time, the Business Unit has become an approved supplier to all the world’s major oil companies and their associated contractors and has pioneered the development of Double Carcass hoses and large bore LPG hoses. In house technology covers all aspects of rubber engineering and the design and production of hoses intended for use in some of the most extreme environmental conditions in the world. The manufacturing facilities in what is now the newest and most technically advanced offshore hose factory in the world, at Ortona in Italy, allow the building of hoses for all applications in bore sizes up to 850mm.
